BSF Recruitment 2014 – 317 ASI (RM), HC (RO & Fitter) Posts: Communication & IT Directorate (Communication Wing), Border Security Force (BSF) has released notification for recruitment of 317 ASI (RM), HC( RO) and HC (Fitter) in Communication Setup-Aug-2014. BSF Vacancy Details:

1.ASI (RM): 41 Posts
2. HC (RO): 269 Posts
3. HC (Fitter): 07 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age not below 18 years and above 25 years for General category, 18-28 years for OBC category and between 18-30 years for SC & ST category as on 07-07-2014.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matric with 3 year Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication for Post No.1, Matriculation or equivalent and two year Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Radio and TV or Electronics for Post No.2 and Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or Institution and two years Industrial Training Certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic for Post No.3.
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination, PST, PET, Interview and Medical Examination.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the crossed bank draft/ Indian Postal Order for Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty) only for General and OBC category as the examination fee in favour of the Inspector General/ DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ Post Office. SC/ST & BSF serving personnel and female candidates candidates of all categories are not required to submit examination fees.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with self attested photocopy of educational qualification and date of birth, three recent passport size photographs duly self attested, caste certificates, application fee, two self addressed envelope of 25X12 cms size with full postal addressed of candidate neatly written on envelope affixed with stamps of Rs.27/- on each, enclosed in an envelope super scribed with “Application for the post of ASI/RM and HC (RO)/HC/Fitter”, should reach to concerned recruitment centers as mentioned in notification on or before 07-07-2014.

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age limit is 30 years for Post No.1, 40 years for Post No.2 and 35 years for Post No.3 as on 14-07-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and must have permanent registration from any state medical council/ MCI for Post No.1, Postgraduate Degree/ Diploma in concerned speciality mentioned in Section ‘A’ or in Section ‘B’ in schedule-I or equivalent of the Indian Medical Council Act for Post No.2 and Degree (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from recognized university/ institution for Post No.3.
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in interview and medical examination.
Application Fee: Candidates belongs to general and OBC category have to pay a crossed IPO/ Bank Draft/ Bankers Cheque of Nationalized Bank for Rs.50/- in favour of the DDO HQ DG BSF New Delhi-03 payable at SBI CGO Complex New Delhi (Code No.7837). SC/ ST/ Female candidates and ex-servicemen are exempted from paying fees.
