Age Limit: Candidates age should not be more than 35 years for Sl no 1 Post, 40 years for Sl no 2, 4, 5 Posts, 52 years for Sl no 3 Post, 32 years for Sl no 6, 8, 9 Posts, 45 years for Sl no 7 Post as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation is applicable.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering for Sl no 1 Post, Degree in Engineering/ Technology or a second class Master’s Degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Economics/ Commerce or equivalent for Sl no 2 Post, post graduation degree in Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.) for Sl no 3 Post, degree in Agriculture or a degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry for Sl no 4 & 5 Posts and refer notification for post wise qualification details.
Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on Screening Test/ Written examination, Interview.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.210/- through Indian Postal Order payable at G.P.O, Kolkata and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees” and no fee for SC/ ST of West Bengal and PWD candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Second Class Honours or Second Class Master’s Degree from a recognised University or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Honours Degree and minimum 55% marks in Madhyamik and 50% marks in Higher Secondary or equivalent from a recognised Board/ Council, Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching or Education from a recognised University or equivalent, Good Knowledge of Bengali/Nepali –Spoken and Written.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Chemistry of a recognized University or an equivalent degree. Experience in analytical and research work is desirable for Post No.1 and a 2nd Class Hons. Degree or Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology from a recognized University or its equivalent for Post No.2.
Selection process: Candidates may be selected based on their performance in Preliminary Examination/ Screening Test.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay a fee of Rs.160/- (Rupees one hundred and sixty) only for all the posts by Indian Postal Order and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head‚ “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format (which is available at http://www.pscwb.org.in) along with the copies of Madhyamik or equivalent certificate, OBC-A/ OBC-B/ SC/ ST/ Persons with Disability certificate issued by competent authority, Registration certificate for Citizenship (if by registration) , Mark sheets and certificate for each examination passed, Experience certificate documents either by Self certified or attested by competent Authority so as to reach the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, 161-A, S.P.Mukherjee Road, Kolkata-700026 superscribing on the envelope “(i) Advertisement No. (ii) Item No. & (iii) Name of the Post applied for” so as to reach on or before 29-09-2014.
