Burdwan University Recruitment 2014 – Faculty Positions: Burdwan University has advertised a notification for the recruitment of 06 Professor for Academic Staff College, Associate Professor & Asst Professor for Department of Performing Arts & music, Manuscript Reader for Department of Bengali. Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D with a number of high quality research publications in reputed journals and/ or publication of books with 10 years experience for S.No.1 posts, Ph.D, PG (Relevant Disciplines), Degree with 8 years experience for S.No.2 & 3 posts, PG in Bengali with 5 years experience for S.No.4 posts.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs.3000 (General Category), Rs.2500 (Reserved Category) for PB – Rs.37, 400 – 67,000 with AGP Rs 10,000 and Rs 2000(General Category), Rs 1500(Reserved Category) and Rs 1500(General Category), Rs 1000(Reserved Category)for PB – Rs.15,600 – 39,100 with AGP Rs. 6000 & GP Rs.6000 in the form of Crossed Demand Draft or a cash challan of the University cash counter of requisite price drawn in favor of the Finance Officer of the University.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on their performance in Interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format as shown in the notification or can be downloaded from the website www.buruni.ac.in. Fill the application and send it along with DD, Photo copies of two sets of all credentials must reach the office of the Registrar, The University of Burdwan, Rajbati, Burdwan – 713104 on or before 26-03-2014.
