Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 40 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with eight years experience or a recognized AICTE Degree with five years experience as a Junior Engineer in a University/ Government Institution/ Public Sector Undertaking for Sr.No:1 Post, Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution/ State Technical Board with five years post qualification experience for Sr.No:2 Post.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test/ interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.300/- through Demand draft drawn in favour of “Finance Officer, JNU” payable at New Delhi (SBI, JNU New Campus Branch, New Delhi-110067, Branch code – 10441). SC/ ST/ PH candidates are exempted from fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the webiste http://www.jnu.ac.in/ & send their printout copies of application form along with the prescribed application fee, one latest passport size photograph duly pasted & attested copies of age proof, qualification certificates/ mark sheets, caste certificate, demand draft, experience certificate, identity proof (Election I-Card/UID Aadhar/PAN) etc on or before 20-10-2014 by 5:30 PM to Deputy Registrar (Admn.), Room No. 310, Administrative Block, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067.

1. Before applying online candidates have to scan copies of photograph and signature.
2. Pay the fee through demand draft at concerned bank.
3. Log on through the website http://www.jnu.ac.in/
4. Click on the Careers at JNU —> Select approprioate position applied for.
5. Click on the “Online Applications are invited for Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer, Executive Engineer (Civil) (deputation) and Junior Engineer(Civil) (deputation) Posts (last date for receipt of applications: 20.10.2014(Monday) by 5.30 p.m.)”.
6. Read the notification and instructions carefully.
7. Click on the “Apply Online”.
8. Fill all the details carefully and upload the copies of photograph, signature.
9. Now check the details and submit the form.
10. A unique code with password will be displayed on the screen.
11. Take 2 printout copies of form, keep a copy for future use.
12. Send a copy of form with all relevant documents to concerned address.
