Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 18 years to 38 years as on 01-01-2014. The upper age relaxation is 05 years for SC/ BC and 09 years for PH candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be Passed in Punjabi upto Matric or its equivalent level & should possess Graduation in any discipline and Computer Information Technology Course or 120 hrs course with hands on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing applications.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Test and Computer Test.
Examination Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs 800/- for General and Rs 400/- for SC/ BC/ PH candidates, deposit in cash through bank challan (generated from the website) in any branch of State Bank of Patiala.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website http://www.punjabgovt.gov.in/ from 29-09-2014 to 21-10-2014. After applying online, take print out of application form for future use.

2. Candidates must have valid email id.
3. Log on to the website http://www.punjabgovt.gov.in/.
4. Click on Departments —> General Administration —> Recruitment of Senior Assistants ‘Apply Online’ Link.
5. Fill all the mandatory details in the application form.
6. Submit error free application form.
7. An login ID and password will be generated, note it.
8. Take print out of bank challan and pay the fee.
9. Take print out of application form for future use.
