East Central Railway Recruitment 2014 – Scout & Guide Quota Posts: East Central Railway, Hajipur has given a notification for the recruitment of Scout & Guide Quota vacancies. East Central Railway Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 04
Name of the Posts: Scouts & Guides
1. In Headquarter Office of E.C Railway Group ‘C’: 02 posts
2. In 5 Divisions of E.C.Railway Group ‘D’: 02 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 30 years for Group ‘C’, 18 to 33 years for Group ‘D’ as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent or higher education with 50% marks for Group ‘C’, Matriculation or equivalent or higher education for Group ‘D’, should have been an active member of a Scout Organisation for at-least 03 years in the recent past and should continue to be active in present recruitment year 2014-2015, should have attended at least one event at National Level and one or two events at State level or should have a good record of participation in Scouts/ Guides activities at Unit/ District Level for both posts.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Examination, Personality Test/ Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs.100/- in the form of Indian Postal Order drawn in favor of ‘FA & CAO, East Central Railway’ and payable at Hajipur. SC/ ST, Ex-Servicemen, PH, Women, Minority & BC candidates are exempted form fee payment.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format should be neatly typed or handwritten either in Hindi or in English with one recent passport size photograph in full Scout/ Guide uniform duly signed to be pasted on the application form. Candidates should write address of HQ/ Divisions on the application form also where they desire to apply along with IPO, 2 recent passport size photographs duly signed on backside & attested copies of relevant documents in support of age, qualification, caste & experience, in a closed envelope should be superscribed with “Application against scout & Guide Quota; Employment Notice No. and Community” to be sent by ordinary post only or dropped in application box to the concerned address (Refer notification) on or before 22-12-2014 & 05-01-2015 for remote areas.

Important Dates:
Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 22-12-2014.
Last Date for Receipt of Applications for Remote Areas: 05-01-2015. 
Tentative Date of Written Test for Group ‘C’ post at HQ: 22-02-2015.
Tentative Date of Written Test for Erstwhile Group ‘D’: 15-02-2015.

Age Limit: Candidate age should be not exceeding 50 years as on 18-10-2014.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have BDS with internship, Registered with Dental Council of India/ Medical Council of State & minimum of 3 years experience after registration.

Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on their performance in interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidate can attend for interview along with application form in the prescribed format, proof of age, self attested photocopies of relevant documents, proof of passing BDS with internship, proof of registration in India Dental Council/ Dental Council State, proof of caste in case of SC/ ST, mark-sheets of relevant qualification, certificate of experience etc., four copies of passport size photograph with self signature & other educational certificates on 28-11-2014 at 11:00 hrs.
