Age Limit: Candidates age should not be exceeding 45 years for Principal Scientist, 50 years for Senior Principal Scientist, 32 years for Scientist, 37 years for Senior Scientist.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D. in Botany/ Biotechnology/ Plant Science/ Life Science in the area of Plant transformation/ (Submitted/ awarded) in Horticulture/ Floriculture/ Botany/ Organic Chemistry/ Genetics and Plant Breeding.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on examination/ interview.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- (No fee for SC/ ST/ Women/ PWD/ abroad/ regular employees of CSIR) of Demand Draft drawn on a nationalized bank in favour of “The Director, CSIR-NBRI” and payable at Lucknow.

Candidates should send the Hard copy of the Online application along with DD, self attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, caste certificate and re-prints of publications to Administrative Officer, CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, Rana Pratap Marg, Lucknow-226001 by Speed Post on or before 19-12-2014.
